Meal Plans

Can I change my meal plan?

Sure thing, because we want you to have the plan that works best for you. Changing or declining plans must be completed within the first 10 days of each term at Student Financial Services in Shilling Hall.

How does meal exchange work?

From 7pm to midnight Monday through Friday and from 6:30pm to midnight Saturday and Sunday, you can use a meal exchange at Big Blue Bistro if you did not use a dinner meal that same day in Wornick Dining Room. A meal exchange allows you to exchange one of your meal swipes for an $8.00 value. If the total purchase amount exceeds $8.00, the remaining balance can be paid for with Flex, cash or credit card.


What is Flex?

Flex is like a gift card for food on campus! These are additional dollars you can use at all on campus dining locations and at the Subway and Domino’s Pizza located by the Woods Apartment Campus. Additional flex dollars may be added to an existing flex plan in increments of $25.00. Additional flex dollars must be prepaid.

Can I carry meals over to the next semester?

Meals are only valid in the semester they are purchased. Flex dollars roll from Fall to Spring, but unused meals do not roll.    
All unused meals and flex dollars are forfeited at May commencement.

What if I have unused Flex at the end of the semester?

Flex Dollars transfer from Fall to Spring semester. Use them by the end of Spring semester - they don't carry over to next year.

What if my Flex Dollars run low?

You can always add to your Flex account in increments of $25 at Student Financial Services using cash, check or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover).

Can I feed my friends or family with my Meal Plan?

Your meal plan is yours exclusively. Your guests can pay the casual meal rate at Wornick or you can use your Flex Dollars to pay at the door. Of course, you can always use Flex Dollars at any location on campus.

Where can I eat if I miss dinner at Wornick?
